Throwback Thursday!
Variety: Murakumo / Gathering Clouds
One of my favourite varieties I've grown so far is Murakumo. This one has the most beautifully variegated leaves, either heart-shaped or tri-lobed. The flowers are very spectacular as well with purple/royal blue blizzard and streaked patterns. It's also very prolific and produces many blooms.
I only have one plant this year though. It has very large heart-shaped leaves. No signs of blooming yet (I saw the first flowers on the 5th of august last year.) I grew five last year but only got about 10 seeds in total. Fingers crossed it produces some more this year.
