The garden is still growing strong. The weather has been lovely this year so far. It does look like it's time to break out some fertilizer here and there.

It's getting crowded in the greenhouse even though I've already moved quite a few plants outside. And there's still a bunch in germination trays that urgently need to be repotted.

No too many plants blooming so far. Which is normal since we just passed the summer solstice. But lots are getting very near, especially the purpureas.

The Pink Flaked and Bluji Fade are still blooming strongly though.
We've also had our first few blooms of Chachamaru and Sazanami #2 and a couple of Lazy Luxe and Star Of Yelta.

I also sowed two Sun Smile Blue plants which flowered for the first time and both turned out to be light pink instead light blue. There must have been a slight mix-up.
EDIT: It turns out this variety is originally more of a blueish lavender color which easily senesces to pink (I remember this one opened after a cold night). Later flowers were a lot more 'blue' although I'd say lavender comes closer to describing it.

The Sazanami #2 looks to be a different phenotype than the ones I've had so far. The flowers were somewhat split and folded and have a lavender blizzard pattern. I can't wait to see one open fully.

Pink Blizzard is getting really close now as well. As is it's parent variety Purple Blizzard Fuji.

Pink Blizzard has bright yellow leaves, often with a thin red margin. Despite this it's still a very fast grower and early bloomer. It has been one of the most prolific plants in the garden every year so far.

The Lazy Luxe and Star Of Yelta look pretty much identical. Lazy Luxe is a pack of mixed varieties however and this one is a dark purple phenotype I isolated last year. So there is a good chance both are actually the same variety.
