13/06/2018 - Early Season Flowers

Flowering is slowly starting to pick up now. A lot of vines have visible flower buds and some are already blooming.

Especially this pink flaked split petal Ipomoea purpurea variety has been giving flowers almost daily for a week now and is the earliest of the season.The flowers on both plants are not showing any split petal characteristics so I'm renaming this one to Pink Flaked or Pink Shibori.

The flaked pattern is subtle and sparse and is not always present on every single flower.

Shiva, Lazy Luxe, Crisp White and Star Of Yelta have also opened up a couple flowers so far.

Bluji Fade showed a couple more flowers as well. The second one faded to pink even before opening due to a cold day and night prior to its opening.
